WILDLIFE ADVENTURES

View Wild Life on the Central Coast
Believe it or not, the cooler months offer some of the best opportunities to explore nature. Kicking things off on September 22 - 24, 2006 is the second annual Monterey Bay Birding Festival in the Pajaro Valley. At Welcome Back Monarchs Day on Sunday, October 8, 2006, discover why thousands of butterflies choose to winter at Natural Bridges State Park. Between December and March, in the waters of the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary, you can view some of the best whale watching in California. Or, opt for a guided walk at Año Nuevo State Reserve, the largest mainland breeding colony in the world for the northern elephant seal.
